will exemplify in detail for successful implementation
in the classroom.
Participants will learn higher level thinking, a variety
of instructional strategies and questioning techniques

The effective practices of Open Ended Tasks. Take a
Stand, and Student Generated Questions will be
exemplified in detail for successful implementation in
the classroom.
Participants will participate in introduction to higher
level thinking, higher level thinking will be defined
and how it ties to the instructional practice rubric
criterion I-4 indicators of the new Teacher Appraisal
and Development System. Participants will learn the
purpose, discuss the rationale, explore research
based elements of higher-level thinking, and
understand it’s imperative role in the classroom
